hi, my name is rae ^_^ (thats short for vertebrae) and this is my super fucking awesome website. ive been teaching myself html for about five years now.
im a teenager and i like music and anime and video games, crap like that.. i tend to act like a living wikipedia page about them. im super into old web aesthetics and larping like im from 2014, so this is a big outlet for that.
i also try and make art when i can, whether it be drawing writing making music etc. when i draw its mostly fanart but i have some ocs that ive been trying to flesh out.
i have a bunny who i love. hes so fucking stupid. a picture shrine might be uploaded soon

where did you learn coding stuff
i dont really have any resources for starting out because i just kinda picked it up over time, but i mostly use mdn web docs to make sure i know what im doing, lol.. i also check my code on the weschools live editor sometimesi learned how to code iframes from https://teppyslayouts.neocities.org & i am forever thankful
where do you find gifs and pngs
most personally hosted gifs or pngs have credit in the image title (hover on desktop, long press on mobile)ok but what about stamps and blinkies thats what i meant
i find pretty much all of these on tumblr, i have a sideblog where i store all of them, tagged accordingly & its here if you want to check it out, i hope you find some cool stuffok what about favicons
some of them i make myself by sizing down jpgs but others are just pixels i found, and reblogged. if you cant find it on that account, i made itdo you have anything else to say or recommend
some background tiles ive used all over my websites come from https://archive.org/details/grsites-textures its like 5k photos worth of various images and tiling jpgs, loads of colors... such a good findhttps://www.totallyfreecursors.com for cursors is really cool but i also have some reblogged on aforementioned tumblr
other than that just look around sites you like and ctrl shift i the fuck out of them. study the design of websites you like, doesnt even have to be on neocities. i use the wayback machine or https://www.webdesignmuseum.org to look at older iterations of sites like youtube, aol, etc, and it helps me get a bit more inspired as far as basic layout of content and css styling goes. happy coding ok do whatever you want forever just dont straight up steal thats really not cool especially from independant web developers ok thats it bye
